Living Room Lectures presents It's In The Cards, Honey: Tarot Through a Queer Lens

Tarot has long found a home among people living outside the boundaries of the mainstream, from occultists and religious heretics to the Romani, second-wave feminists of the witch revival, and queer communities. Leila Olsen will trace that history and look at how the queer community helped shape the way tarot is understood and practiced today. We’ll also get a short tarot 101, exploring how the cards can become a tool for thinking about identity, sexuality, ambiguity, and life beyond the binary. And because no lecture about tarot should end without consulting the cards, we’ll close with a reading for the collective.
